About the Artist

Mike Fabre is a talented amateur photgrapher who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2002 at the age of 46.  Since then, he and his wife Connie have been determined to make a difference in finding the cause and cure for Parkinson's Disease volunteering with the Parkinson's Action Network (www.parkinsonsaction.org).

Mike's talents in photography come from his rich personal experiences.  He grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana attending Broadmoor High School and Louisiana State University.  After a 10 year career working for fiberglass tank manufacturing and repair companies, he went to work for an industrial sales company where he spent over 20 years as a highly successful sales person of computer control systems for petrochemical facilities.  Mike earned numerous sales awards and is highly regarded and respected in his industry.

Mike has always been an avid motorcycle rider, having owned a total of 15 bikes!  Through riding the country roads of Louisiana, Colorado and California, he gained an appreciation of our country and its land.  Mike also enjoys traveling, mowing the grass, tending to his yard and cooking up great Cajun recipes.  Many of the pictures in the card designs come right from his backyard, kitchen or travels.   Enjoy!
